Running with a theme from the movie, Evil Dead, o8Monkeyman8o, came up with this high vis1969 Dodge Charger. I particularly enjoy the lad coming out of the roof. Nice touch.

The reason for this is that these films developed a strong, loyal following by a small, but meaningful, set of fans. In many cases, these films launched the careers of actors and directors. Bruce Campbell Gives Scoop on 'Burn Notice' Movie

As anticipation builds for the "Burn Notice" prequel: "The Fall of Sam Axe," bits of information are being released by USA and cast members. We decided to cut to the chase and get the information from Sam Axe himself. Yes, City's Best grabbed a few minutes with Bruce Campbell after filming in Colombia to talk about the new movie, what it means to the upcoming season five, and even where he likes to relax when he's not portraying Michael Westen's righthand man. His answers may surprise you.

What are the basics of the movie?
It's a two-hour movie for USA to air April 17 at 9pm. It tells the story of Sam Axe's last mission and how he got to Miami ... Basically, Sam is screwing around with the Admiral's wife and he gets sent to Bogota, Colombia to get out of the Admiral's hair ... It goes sideways as they say in the business.

So Jeffrey Donovan (Michael Westen) is directing the movie?
Yeah, he directed an episode last year of "Burn Notice" and did a great job with it.

Why do a movie now?
Viewers wanted more because its cable and there are only 16 episodes instead of 22 every season. If you don't watch the movie, season five won't be the same ... Season five is going to be a different dynamic. Michael Westen's relationship with the CIA is improving, while Sam Axe's relationship with the CIA is not so good as you'll see in the movie.

Any surprises in the movie?
There's a special guest appearance, but I can't tell you who that is, spoiler alert!

The Evil Dead Filming Location

On October 22, 2010, one of my lifelong goals was finally accomplished. That was the day I set foot on the actual filming location of The Evil Dead.

My cousin and I took the approximate 600 mile pilgrimage only to stay for about 20 minutes. Long enough to take some photos.

Almost as soon as we got to the location, we heard what sounded like a vehicle stop up on the hill next to ours.

When we got back to the road, standing next to my car, was the owner. She was a nice lady that gave us a little history of the land and the cabin. She also threw in that it was private property. We thanked her for her time and told her sorry for any inconvenience. She told us that no harm was done.

I’m really glad that I got to visit the location. To tread on the same soil that my favorite director and actor treaded upon that launched their successful careers is an awesome feeling. And to be in THE actual spot where my favorite movie was made–the one that inspired me to pick up my own camera–well…I can’t explain it.

I’m glad I made the once in a lifetime trip!

While we were making our way down to the cabin site, we noticed that a lot of logging had been taking place. I asked the owner if she intended to log the main site and she told me no, she didn’t think so. Let’s hope she don’t!

Also while in Morristown, we ate at the famous Little Dutch Restaurant. Bruce Campbell and other cast and crew ate there while filming The Evil Dead. Hanging on the wall is a photo of Bruce and others associated with The Evil Dead visiting the restaurant on the night of the Morristown premiere.

A photo of Harrison Ford visiting the restaurant is also hanging on the wall.

They make a great cheeseburger!

I love Sam Raimi's Evil Dead trilogy. I have seen all three films a thousand times each and I will probably watch them thousands of times more. They're funny, they're scary, they're sick and they're awesome, but most importantly they're filled with cinematic moments that I nor any other fan will ever forget.

In honor of Ash Wednesday I watched the entire trilogy again (like I needed an excuse) and picked out what I believe to be the 10 greatest and most memorable moments in the Evil Dead franchise. If you've seen the movies before, watch for nostalgia; if you haven't, watch to understand why you should. This morning we met with developer Backflip Studios (the makers of Paper Toss: World Tour, Ninjump, and Ragdoll Blaster 2), and they surprised us by announcing that they're working on a game called Army of Darkness. Just as we hoped, it's a licensed title based on the 1992 horror/ comedy movie starring Bruce Campbell.

Army of Darkness, the game, is set during the scene from the movie when Ash and co. are defending the medieval castle against a huge number of undead baddies called Deadites. You'll control Ash, who you can equip with several different weapons, including, of course, a chainsaw and a shotgun (aka boomstick). Every enemy you massacre drops coins that you can use to summon all kinds of characters from the movie, including knights, mini-Ashes, and the dumpy Oldsmobile.

As you battle through the 50 levels included in the game, you'll hear Ash deliver a large number of quotes from the movie. (If you haven't seen the movie, just know that it's packed end-to-end with memorable one-liners.
