BRUCE: MNIB will have no impact on the Evil Dead films. There are currently no remake or sequels planned, so there isn't much to talk about.
Ellen Sandweiss (The Evil Dead, Satan’s Playground) gets to kick ass as a long-suffering line producer, the other “Ladies of the Evil Dead” Betsy Baker and Theresa Tilly have brief but memorable cameos;

. . . the Pioneer will host the Manhattan big-screen engagement of Stevan Mena’s BRUTAL MASSACRE (pictured). NEW ORLEANS -- Craig Horner and Bridget Regan have been tapped to star in Sam Raimi's syndicated series "Wizard's First Rule," which launches in the fall.
The scripted series, an hourlong weekly from Disney-ABC Domestic Television and ABC Studios, is based on Terry Goodkind's book "Wizard's First Rule" and epic fantasy series "The Sword of Truth."
Raimi is executive producing with Robert Tapert, Joshua Donen, Ned Nalle and John Shiban.

In addition, the Bay confirmed that Stevan Mena’s slasher satire BRUTAL MASSACRE, starring David Naughton, Gunnar Hansen and Brian O’Halloran, will hit DVD July 22 following limited theatrical play.

Just heard the Evil Dead: the Musical will open on June 13th at the Campbell (ha!) Theatre in Martinez, CA. And they WILL be having a splatter zone!
Many people feel that Stephen King is the "King of Horror." He's royalty, don't get me wrong, but would he have that title if his last name was something like "Lipshitz"? Uncle Stevie is the goods, no question about it, but if I were to crown a true King of Horror, I wouldst bequeath that title upon none other than Sir Bruce Campbell.
