In real life and in fiction, if you are likely to spend your days covered in blood and gore then Bruce Campbell knows it is best to be surrounded by friends.
The Ash vs Evil Dead star reunited with long-time friends and collaborators Ted Raimi and executive producers Sam Raimi and Robert Tapert to bring the series based on the 1980s cult-movie franchise to the small screen.
When Campbell’s former Xena: Warrior Princess co-star Lucy Lawless and Evil Dead original composer Joseph LoDuca also joined the cast and crew, the “family” was complete.
Now in its second season on Stan, the series sees Campbell return to the role of Ash, the survivor of the original films, who again swaps his prosthetic hand for a chainsaw to battle a demonic plague of “Deadites”.
