Over the weekend, Mike Pasquale of EvilDeadWorkshed.com let EDN know about his secret project - Operation: Evil Dead Uproot. This is a rescue and recovery operation of the Evil Dead II Filming Site in Wadesboro, NC.
The owner of the farm property has decided to clear the area where the cabin ruins are located in order to harvest the trees for local firewood businesses.
Much of the cabin, workshed and foam trees used for exterior shots for Evil Dead II has now been relocated to the Greater Pittsburgh area. Some of these structures will be brought to the Western Pennsylvania Comic-Cons.
Mike let us know that there is a ton of wood from this operation to go around for free, as long as people pay the shipping costs.
