What better day than Friday the 13th to premiere the first full episode of Robert Kurtzman’s Creature Corps: The Web Series? The weekly series lets you peek behind the curtain to see “backstage access only” footage following filmmaker and FX master Kurtzman (ARMY OF DARKNESS, THE DEVIL’S REJECTS, CABIN FEVER) and his Creature Corps artists as they create fantastic creatures, special makeup FX and visual FX for various film and music video productions.The first six-minute episode can be watched at the official website. The webisodes show the day to day activities at the Creature Corps effects facility, as well as provide behind the scenes footage of Midnight Syndicate’s film DEAD MATTER and the shooting of their first music video Dark Legacy, Mushroomhead’s latest music video productions for 12 Hundred and My Soul to Take, extensive coverage creating the monsters and FX for the upcoming Jennifer Lynch fright flick HISSS as well as original projects and creations from the Creature Corps team of artists.
CREATURE CORPS will also be featuring various contests and giveaways, with prizes including props, masks, autographed items and more. Episode One, “The People of The Creature Corps,” follows Kurtzman as he takes you on a tour of Precinct 13 Entertainment, home of The Creature Corps.
