The Kalamazoo Horror Fest, which begins at 10 a.m. at Game Warehouse, will have the Ladies of the Evil Dead signing autographs, an appearance by the Hooter Girls, and catering by Lenny’s Sub Shop.The Horror Fest will move over to Hooters at 5 p.m, and at 6 p.m. attendees will meet up at Bronson Park to prepare for the Zombie Crawl. There will be a booth set up supplying zombie makeup.
Starting at 7 p.m., the zombified crowd will make its way through downtown Kalamazoo to Rugger’s Up and Under Bar.
There, a question and answer session will be held with the “Ladies,” as well as a screening of independent horror flicks.
Capping off the night will be a zombie party at Wayside Bar & Grill until 2 a.m., where “The Evil Dead” will be screened.
Also attending the Kalamazoo Horror Fest will be Tom Sullivan, make-up artist for “The Evil Dead,” Dan Hicks, who acted in “Evil Dead II,” and the “Evil Dead: The Musical” cast.
