Composer Stephen McKeon (Pilgrimage, Queen & Country, Norm of the North, Rose Plays Julie, My Name Is Emily) is reuniting with director Lee Cronin on the upcoming supernatural horror movie Evil Dead Rise. The film is written and directed by Cronin and stars Lily Sullivan, Alyssa Sutherland, Mia Challos, Gabrielle Echols, Morgan Davies and Nell Fisher. The fifth installment in the Evil Dead franchise follows two estranged sisters whose reunion is cut short by the rise of flesh-possessing demons, thrusting them into a primal battle for survival. Ghost House Pictures’ Robert Tapert (Don’t Breathe, The Grudge) is producing the New Line Cinema production. Sam Raimi (Spider-Man, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness) and actor Bruce Campbell serve as executive producers.
