What qualifies Ash to give parental advice? He’s the hero of Elk Grove! We pretty much just let him do whatever he wants.

We’re under a month away from Ash vs. Evil Dead season three, which will continue the blood-soaked adventures of macho horror icon Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell) and his merry band of Deadite-fighters. This time around, Ash’s long-lost teenage daughter will be joining the team and io9 has an exclusive preview.

It’s… erm, well… Groovy… :-)
For 30 long years, says Bruce Campbell’s evil-slaying Ash, “I’ve used this saw on monsters, demons, but those battles are won. And now I use it to…slash prices!”
And with that, the third season of Ash Vs Evil Dead buzzes right along, as this new trailer resurrects Campbell’s cult favorite do-gooder doing what he does best – slaughtering whatever supernatural creep comes his way, and always with a quip.
Starz dropped this video today, along with new key art, to prepare the way for the series return February 25.
Not only will we be meeting Ash Williams’ estranged daughter Brandy Barr in the third season of Starz’s “Ash vs. Evil Dead,“ but we’ll also be meeting her mother, Candy Barr!
Yes, Candy Barr. Cause that’s just how Ash rolls.

The STARZ series Ash vs. Evil Dead has offered audiences plenty of mischief and mayhem, with the upcoming season promising to show something the series has never explored: Ash Williams being a father. To prepare audiences for what kind of father Ash would be, STARZ released the below promo.

Gearing up for his turn as a first-time dad in season 3 of Ash vs Evil Dead, Ash has some advice for his teenage daughter. In February, Ash vs. Evil Dead is going places the previous Evil Dead films and seasons 1 and 2 never ventured to go: fatherhood. True, Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell) served as a mentor to his young sidekicks Kelly Maxwell (Dana DeLorenzo) and Pablo Bolivar (Ray Santiago) as they joined the square-jawed antihero in his battle against deadites in seasons 1 and 2; but parenthood, as Ash is about to discover, comes with an entirely different set of responsibilities.
Campbell first hinted how the family dynamic of Ash vs. Evil Dead was going to change in season 3 of the show when he revealed last summer that his character would discover he had a teenage daughter, and Brandy (Arielle Carver-O’Neill) was formally introduced to fans at New York Comic Con in October. And while more details about how Ash discovers he’s a parent have yet to be revealed, it appears that the chainsaw-handed, boomstick-slingin’ savior of Elk Grove, Michigan, has the whole dad thing down.
Our favorite TV borg in 2016 was Bruce Campbell as he teamed up with on-screen father Lee Majors in the Starz television series Ash vs Evil Dead. Reprising his role from the Evil Dead film series and Army of Darkness, the chainsaw-armed suave hero Ash is back next month for Season 3 of the dark comedy-meets-horror gore fest.
