THE PULSE: What do you like the best about Ash? How is he different from the typical protagonist?
COHN: I think that if Bruce Campbell hadn’t set the tone for that character, it wouldn’t be nearly as fun. Let’s face it, that’s why the book was done in the first place. If Ash was played by Jan Michael Vincent, would we even be having this conversation? Wait, I take that back. He’s a bit of a train wreck. And people love train wrecks!
